Just purchased the Logitech G7 mouse...

... and all I can say is WOW! It's an absolutely amazing mouse!

Any of you guys tried it out?

It's so precise, and even though it's wireless I haven't felt even the slightest bit of lag...

Thumbs up to Logitech for this one!

How ya doing, buddy?

There was a G7 thread before, but I don't think it was of the "HOLY CRAP THIS MOUSE IS ORGASMIC" variety. But yeah,

HOLY CRAP THIS MOUSE IS ORGASMIC.

Couple it with an awesome mousepad (in my case the Xtracpads Hybrid) and it's pure ownage. So slick. So accurate. Definitely in my top ten of greatest feeelings in the world.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I'm a terribly big fan of the MX1000 (which is basically what the G7 is except for the changeable battery and weights, which kick butt), so I'm sure the mouse is stunning. Personally, I'm tempted to upgrade to the G5 myself - I love the feel and response of my MX1000 but I'm sick of the whole recharging aspect, so I may go back to a corded mouse.

I was really reluctant about the same thing. I went from an MX700 to a corded mouse for KVM reasons, and it was really easy to get used to again.

Well, there was this interim period where I used a Microsoft Stark mouse which is pretty, but crap. Then got an MX510 to get that nice feeling back.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I've got a G5 (I chose corded, since I use the computer for lots of hours) and sure, it's a pretty good toy to have - very nice response . Though it's pricey!

Both mice are excellent, albeit--as previously mentioned--a tad bit pricey.
...but, wait; does the G7 have support for adding/removing weights to the mouse? I know that the G5 does, but I could never find a place for the weights on the G7; the battery seems to go in there. Maybe I was just using it wrong :\

Yeah indeed, that mouse is awesome, once configured properly, I tried the MX610 first, and the G7 is way beyond it terms of preciseness!

I'm experiencing some glimpse though, here and there, sometimes for a fraction of second the mouse loses the signal, anybody noticed this?

I use an MX1000, and while it's nice, I'm also thinking of switching to a corded mouse again.

I'm looking at a Razer Copperhead though. That mouse is supposed to be pretty goddamn nice.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
