Hi there, just today, I plugged in my 4th Gen iPod into my computer [PC, Win XP pro]. from there on, I went and started up winamp, and used that to play my iPod music [the plugin for winamp, i'm sure you know]. When I went to do that, I minimized everything on the left side of the winamp window so I can access my iPod faster. In the process, the device for the iPod didn't show up. I checked again, and reinstalled the plug in, and it still didn't show. I then checked out my iTunes program, and it showed my iPod, but now...all my music on there is gone. I then disconnected the iPod and then looked at my music manually...and all my music is gone. The weird thing is, when I went to re-plug the iPod back in, I checked out it's properties in 'My Computer' and it said the space on the iPod was still being used. I don't get it, and it's very frustrating. I'm hoping to hear from someone soon. Thanks.

PS, I didn't know where to put this, so I hope it's in the right place. If it's not, i'm sorry.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

this happened to me once with my ipod nano, but it fixed itself within a day. I hope the same happens with you!

There's nowhere I can't reach.
