Gamingforce Soundtrack ~ Mario's Warp Room

Ok...let's start the suggestions for this soundtrack extravaganza full of Nintendo goodness!

The rules:
~Nominate 1st party music and music from games that are exclusive to Nintendo consoles.
(try to nominate as much 1st party Nintendo tracks as possible, because you need to keep in mind that there's also a "General Game Music" album being made by Kairyu)
~Try to nominate 1 song from each Nintendo console (NES, GB, SNES, GBA, N64, GC, NDS).
(if you can't come up with 1 for each console then just nominate another one for any of the other console's! Just be sure to keep your nominations diverse and not 7 songs from the same game!!)
~The maximum number of nominations are 7 songs!
(or less if you can't come up with 7)
~I would prefer if you would nominate original songs and no arranged Nintendo tunes, but if you feel that a certain arranged tune MUST be in there, then by all means....nominate it!!
~The following albums/games have been disqualified, since they were already used in the last incarnation of the GFF soundtrack!:
  • Mario & Zelda Big Band
  • Megaman 2
  • Megaman 3
  • Secret Of Evermore
  • Zelda The Wind Waker

Well, that's it....let's start nominating!!!

For those who don't know what this is all about, please refer to these threads:
http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/co...oundtrack.html

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Consider this a placeholder while I think up my other 5. HOWEVER, I know this one track has to fucking be on there, or there will be shootings.

DS: Sugimori Masakazu - Ryuuichi Naruhodou ~ Objection! 2001 (Gyakuten Saiban Yomigaeru Gyakuten Original Soundtrack)
GC: Metroid Prime Echoes - Torvus Bog
NES: Castlevania III - Mad Forest

How ya doing, buddy?

F-Zero - Mute City!

And Batman GB - Level 1 theme! <3

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

It is insulting and a crime that the SNES is left off that list.

And the Virtual Boy.

Just for that, I'm going to pick something from the Virtual Boy instead of the GBA.

NES: The Guardian Legend - Title
GB: Toki Tori - Slime Cave
SNES: Final Fantasy 6 - Searching for Friends or Kirby Super Star - Revenge of MetaKnight Ending
VB: Red Alarm - Boss 4
N64: Wonder Project J2 - Josette of the Colro Forest
GC: Kirby Air Ride - City (Backside)
NDS: Kirby: Canvas Curse - Drawcia Sorceress

I'm going to lock in my NES pick since the title track from Treasure Master was on last year's GFF soundtrack and Josiah nominated The Moon on the next page. Still need to figure out an SNES pick (FF6 is too predictable, although since the RPG Gaming OST is gone...).

Super Mario RPG - Docaty Mountain Railroad
Super Mario World - Sub Castle BGM (track 258 of the Super Mario World OST)

Nintendo 64

I hope these are all right as nominations. Also, are you gonna be looking for nominated songs or do we have to upload them to you somewhere?

I'll probably make a final list with all the nominations and then let you guys decide which should make it onto the album!
(and if I see a song that has been nominated multiple times, then it'll probably end up on the album)

I think I can get most of the nominations, since I have a reasonable amount of Nintendo tunes in my own collection (my FTP)!
I'll send a PM to those that have nominated songs that I can't get and if you're certain that it's a very rare song, then just upload it to my FTP!

Not much of it. I ripped Red Alarm straight from an emulator, but I haven't released it because almost every single track clips like a motherfucker.

I want to say that I saw a VB rip on an FTP somewhere, and that it was Mario Clash. Although the fact that I didn't download it immediately when I saw it makes that seem a little dubious.

Which track is this on the NSF set?
I'm listening to it right now and I think it's a rather good NES soundtrack....I especially love track 19, it's rather uplifting!

Well... cool. Red Alarm was the first VB game I ever played, and I REMEMBER liking the music, so seeing it in BIG BOLD TEXT was WIN.

Here are mine, Tappy:

1. Super Smash Bros. Melee: Fountain of Dreams

2. Donkey Kong Country: Aquatic Ambience

3. Super Mario World: Overworld 1 (preferably the track in the Super Mario World album, Disc 2, Track 53, as the second half has the Yoshi variation)

Sorry I can't nominate one from each system, as the only Nintendo system I've ever owned is SNES.

I just have one: Super Smash Brothers Melee: Mother 2 (the one that is a variation of the Onett theme). That song fucking WINS. That and Fountain of Dreams are my two favorite out of the ENTIRE track.

I also nominate the music for Giygas's first phase in Earthbound. I will die a happy man if those three are included.

bah, I only came up with five noms.

NES - Super Dodge Ball Gamerip - London's Theme (track 06)
GB - Kirby's Dream Land 2 Gamerip - Dark Castle (stage) (track 20)
SNES - DKC3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble OST - Enchanted Riverbank (actually I much prefer the Gamerip version. Let me know if you need to get that one from me.)
N64 - Pokémon Stadium 2 US Gamerip - Poké Cup Battle (track 46)
GC - Mario Superstar Baseball Gamerip - Yoshi Park (track 08)

Of course hearing any of these nominations in the GFF soundtrack would make my heart skip a beat =o.

NES: Can't have this without the original Super Mario Bros theme song.

N64: - Donkey Kong 64 - DK Rap

Gamecube: - Metroid Prime - Phazon Mines
- Metroid Prime 2 - Title Screen
- Zelda: Wind Waker - End Credits

DS: - Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! - Orange Range - Shanghai Honey
- Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! - L'arc-en-ciel - Ready! Steady! Go! (this would sorta be a cross with Anime - since the song was the theme to Full Metal Alchemist).

NES - Dr Mario

I forget the specific names, but I think it's Fever and Chilled or something along those lines. Also the Game Over theme. Man I love the music for that game.
