I'm trying to free up space on my computer and I have a lot of leftover history.
My temp folder and temporary internet files folders have both amounted to a couple gigabytes. Should I just delete them or is there a program I should get? Any help with be appreciated. Thanks.
How ya doing, buddy? |
Go ahead and delete them. It's best to delete the TIF folder by going into Control Panel, Internet Options, then click "Delete Files" and checking "delete all offline content."
There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
You might wanna glance over it quickly just to make sure you don't delete anything that you've been using externally. That way you won't have too many mysteries when something wierd happens.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Alright, thanks, freed up a lot of space.
I was speaking idiomatically. |
Um.. I disagree with you. The TIF folder does hold cookies. but if you do delete files like how its said above, you wont delete them. you have to click the secound option to delete them, " Delete COokies" <--
so the TIF does hold Cookies, you just dont delete them the same way. ![]() What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? ![]() My FTP will Be Back Soon |
