DO YOU KNOW YOUR MOVIES: Just Getting Cooking...

Hey folks,

Another round!

The theme for this round is OFFSCREEN SOURCES OF LIGHT.

Please spoilerify your guesses. Take it one film at a time if you want but if you know, you know!

Have fun!

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Spoiler:
#2 is Amy Adams looking hot in Julie and Julia.
#3 is obviously the Goron Village from Ocarina of Time.
#6 is Ratatouille.
#8 is No Reservations, the inferior remake of Mostly Martha.

For #5 I'll guess Bridget Jones' Diary simply because it's the first Renee Zellweger film that comes to mind.

You like the short hair eh? Too bad she's a bit of a pill during most of the movie.

I think she's hot in most stuff though... Talladega Nights comes to mind with the whole hair flipping incident.

The short hair's alright, but she's just hot in general. Still haven't gotten around to seeing the movie, though it did look interesting enough to watch at some point.

Yeah... she's cute enough. Almost too much New York angst though. Still worth a download or a rental if you're with a woman friend, as it's a tolerable date movie. As well, she'll want to start cooking.

SUPPORT THIS NOTION.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Spoiler:

#2 Julile and Julia (might have been Julia and Julie)
#3 (I'm guessing) Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs
#4 Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (I believe, might be RotK though).
#5 Bridget Jones' Diary
#6 Ratatouille
#7 Sweeney Todd
#8 No Reservations

That's 7 of them, no idea about the rest.

Edit: I can guess the female being discussed in the above comments, and if as suspected it's the lovely Amy Adams then I am in agreeance. Massive <3 for Amy Adams, though I much prefer her with longer hair than short hair. Not that I'd kick her out of bed for short hair mind.

How ya doing, buddy?

1, 4, 9 and 10 remain unguessed.

1 has a very recognizable actor as the chef on the right. Think of where you've seen that smile before.
4 should be recognizable based on what the actor is doing. The film is relatively contemporary.
9 is a classic with a primary character in the frame, and think of what they are cooking.
10 has some well-disguised TV actors in a very artistic film a little while back.

Spoiler:
9 looks a lot like The Godfather, the scene where the big guy says what goes into a good sauce, but I don't think that's it...is it?

9 is correct! The only one missing is 10 now...

The central theme of the movie is about cooking, in a large kitchen, for special guests, at a certain time of the day, at an event of some significance...

The main character is well hidden but currently has won a lot of TV awards...

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
