Whats That Game?

Hello everyone, this might sound a bit mad but i really need to know the name of a SNES game i remember playin, been tryin to track down the rom for ages and i see the only real way to get anywhere would be to ask some peeps if they knew of it. Anyway, it's a scrollin shooter where your a robot you get given a gun that fires small yellow bullets very very rapidly and a sheild to stop enemy fire, and i think if i recal you can punch stuff aswell. Pretty much one of the best shooters ever made imo as it sort off combined platform action aswell. Another thing i remember is that you could slide about quite a fair bit and had a jump pack too? thats about it though.

Sorry for botherin anyone its my first post you see, and well, hello an all that. I hope you can understand my plight.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Megaman?

That's the only game I can come up with. There's a lot of sequels for that franchise, and I think Megaman 4 through 7 made it onto the Super NES.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Sounds like Super Turrican to me.

(screenshot from Super Turrican 2, but same premise)

Or maybe Cybernator.
The bullets seem more red than yellow, though.

How ya doing, buddy?

Metal Warriors? For some reason the name comes to mind, but I'm not sure if I'm thinking of the right game.

From what I can tell, this is probably Cybernator. You had a Vulcan gun, a shield, a dash that took you pretty far, a short-flight hover/jump pack-thing.

Download it and check it out. Even if its not the game, its definitely worth checking out.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Did it have RPG elments? Like leveling up, and equipment. If so, then it might be that Front Mission game for SNES. I think it was part 2.
