HDMI Cable, Home Theater Accessories, HDMI Products, Cables, Adapters, Video/Audio Switch, Networking, USB, Firewire, Printer Toner, and more!

I've never bought from them, but people always recommend there when talk about cables comes up.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

thanks for the site, you da man racinreaver!

it seems like 1ft is their smallest length though, and while 1 foot is a big improvement from what im working with, i'd still like to shave off a few inches, maybe an 8" cable?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

That's at a length where you might start to have issues with how bendable the cable would be, so they might not make them that short.

I mean, you could always buy a 1' cable, cut a 6" chunk out of it and then try to splice it back together, but that might be more of a headache than just dealing with a cable that's a few inches longer than you'd prefer.

yeah, i was actually wondering how they measure the cable, like is the "cable" 6" or is the cable + plugs 6", if that makes any sense.

either way 1 foot should be fine, but im still open to smaller lengths. I feel like 8" would be perfect, just a little shorter so the cable will be snug.

the place im putting my speakers is actually ON my laptop monitor, on the sides, so the length from usb port to speaker is extremely short, and my current cable snags on everything.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Have you tried ebay? I know I saw a couple of 6" cables while looking for a 15' usb cable today. Not sure if they're the same type of ones you're looking for tho.

thanks for the replies, i realize 1', and 1 1/2' cables are good for me, and found a usb cable

but now i need a mono m/m 3.5" cable. here is a link to what i need...

Cables To Go - 1.5ft Velocity™ 3.5mm Mono Audio Cable M/M

unfortunatly it costs 14 bucks and there is no way im paying that much for a footlong mono cable. thats crazy.

can anyone direct me to where i can find one for a reasonable price? ive tried google and ebay with no luck, it just links me to this overpriced brand. I'm hoping they haven't monopolized mono cables with them being so old.

The mono cable is also for my speaker, to connect the left and right speaker together. here is a picture of it, im not even sure its a mono cable but i think so. its kind of like a cable and stand built into 1, which is why its huge and has a black base. the cord is basically jsut two of these. I want to replace the big bulky (and heavy) logitech one with a cord that lacks the large base.

Why does it have to be a mono cable? I wasn't even aware there was a difference between mono and stereo cables for that sort of stuff. You could always try popping into your local Radio Shack and asking them about it. If not there, maybe a local non-chain big screen TV/stereo store where the people are there because they know their stuff and not because they'll work for minimum wage.

If it turns out you don't need mono: For only $0.87 each when QTY 50+ purchased - 3.5mm Stereo Plug/Plug M/M Cable - 12ft | 3.5mm Audio Cables

yeah stereo would be great, but im just assuming if its a mono cable i should use a mono cable. i think they are a little shorter than their stereo counterparts.

if you look at the picture you only see 1 little black bar on the plug, stereos have 2, which is why i assume its a mono plug.
