DVI cable
I'm using a DVI cable for my computer monitor, and I recently noticed that it doesn't have as many pins as there are holes and that other cables have all the pins. I haven't really noticed any problems with my monitor, but I'm wondering what the lack of pins would be causing me to miss.
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Unless your LCD is huge and has a resolution larger than 1600x1200, it's likely that you don't NEED all the pins and are in fact missing nothing. There are a few different species of DVI cables.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
