Kyouran Kazoku Nikki is the tale of several people gathered under one roof... as a family. The mission? Find the child of Enka, a monster prophecied to bring an end to the human race, and either kill them or convince them to not bring an end to the world. Oh, but it gets better.

Midarezaki Ouka, the main man who is tasked with the mission. He's a practical man who upholds justice and knows when to think sharply. Of course, he's basically at the mercy of his new wife:

Kyouka... our other lead. She's the insufferable combination of what happens when Haruhi Suzumiya bangs Sonic the Hedgehog and produces a catgirl. And despite her looks, she's 20. Hahahaha. Despite her ridiculous selfishness she's also cunning and is taking her role in this save the world operation seriously.

Yuuka. Our adorable loli. She's surprisingly not the youngest, and harbors something of a nasty secret, but what it is I won't tell you.

Hyouka, once known as Black 13. Some fans call him(?) robo-Tamaki thanks to same voice actor, good with a sword, etc. etc.

And finally Ginka, a so totally flaming man it's... funny? In ep 2 though he sounds normal whenever there's serious business going down.

There's an eighth character dancing about the OP, but she has not been revealed in the actual show. Will our wacky family survive life? How does an ELECTRIC JELLYFISH bring about the end of the world?! Tune in and find out!

Good show thus far. Too bad SS & Eclipse are always a little on the slow side for those of us who can't understand Japanese =\

There's nowhere I can't reach.

As long as they drop the drama angle I could probably bare watching this for a whole season.

Episode 3 was a million different kinds of UGH TERRIBLE though.
