Kings of Power 4 Billion %
Maybe I´m just too stupid to use the forum search, but I think there is no thread for this yet.
Kings of Power 4 Billion % is more or less the sequel to Pirate Baby’s Cabana Battle Street Fight, both video parodies of 2D side scrolling videogames like Contra, Metal Slug, and so on.
Paul Robertson's Journal Paul Robertson shows some really nice sprite art in this video, but I think the best part is the soundtrack by Cornel Wilczek. Jam it back in, in the dark.
Everything´s getting better.
Nothing´s getting good. |
Ohh.. so that's what it's about. I'll check it out later.

It's basically random acts of violence with a healthy dose of pop culture references and parody. Why this or Pirate Baby’s Cabana Battle Street Fight ever became a video game is beyond me.
I personally prefer Pirate Baby to this but as always the animation is pretty damn good for sprites and despite my distaste for the anime look, it's done pretty well here. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
What a cute video! I like all the superdeformity and random violence running about. Probably the 3rd quarter of it made less sense than the rest of it. I'm also actually wondering if I could get the music separately for the whole thing as well, as it was sufficiently full of energy. I also liked all the game references, especially to Metal Slug. This'll be one of my favourite 2D videos for a while
