I know wav/mp3 to midi conveters pretty much suck but what's a decent one? Link to a free one or cracked one would be great. Thanks in advanced!

...it doesn't work that way.
That is, there is no program that will 'transcribe' an MP3 (or comparable audio file) into a MIDI. There's nowhere I can't reach.

There are programs that do that, you can find a bunch of them searching on Google.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...=Google+Search The problem with many of them is that the song must be fairly simple with a small number of distinguishable instruments. How ya doing, buddy?

They suck because Midis suck. I can't concieve a reason to make that conversion.

I was speaking idiomatically. |
Additionally, people are still using cell phones that will only accept MIDI (or another transcribed format) for ringtones.
And you could fit like a billion MIDIs on a CD. (Granted, shitty.) What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Snowknight you're right you can view musical score from a midi file, one such program that allows you to do so is noteworthy composer. FELIPE NO |
