VGM Online Shop (Worldwide/Europe shipping)
Hi there,
I usually buy Videogame music from Amazon (the german website) and YesAsia.com. I have also used Amazon.co.jp, but the additional tax on the albums upon arrival in Germany is quite high. Somehow YesAsia has some kind of deal when shipping to Germany. I usually spend a lot of money there but never had to pay any additional taxes. Shipping to Germany is also free when purchasing enough. Very nice online shop, with fast shipping times. Sadly YesAsia does not have some items I'm looking for. I'm especially interested in the Chrono Trigger OST (not the OSV, but the 1 disc edition with the additional arranged tracks) and the Chrono Trigger arrange "The Brink of Time" (I love this acid jazz *g*). So I was searching the net, first on eBay where I met the usual bootleg suspects, which I avoid after my first confrontation with them (never buy your first VGM album on eBay, you will be ripped off for sure - I was lucky to get my money back...). Oh yes, I did not only search for this two albums but also for some of the older FF scores. Also interested in the Laputa: Castle in the Sky USA Soundtrack (I already have the Symphonic Suite and the Japan score) So I quickly left eBay and continued with Mr. Google. Not much luck there. At first the onlineshops looked all very trustworthy, but upon seeing labels like EverAnime and Miya Records I quickly left these as well. It's really no use, you get bombed with bootlegs in these shops. Now I need your help. Where do you buy NON-bootleg VGM and anime scores? Preferred is shipping to Europe (otherwise I don't know how to get the stuff to Germany) and reasonable pricing. Thanks, liquid Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Play Asia
Maybe not the cheapest shop but no problems with shipping to Germany. How ya doing, buddy? ![]() Best Song Contest 2014 Winner Musashi: Samurai Legend - Aeolic Guardian composed by Masashi Hamauzu Me @ last.fm | Ultimate Video Game Composers List | VGM Lounge (German) |
Usually I'm using Amazon Marketplace. You can get there everything Amazon itself have, brand new as well but much cheaper. For example you could get the Chrono Trigger OST for ~17€, and I'm sure you would find all the FF scores you are looking for as well. Sometimes they aren't that easy to find, because Amazon doesn't name the soundtracks properly, but they are all there for sure. The Xenosaga OST for example is called Zeno Saga and the FFIV Celtic Moon CD is just called "Final Fantasy, Vol.4". Some other soundtracks are just titled "Video Game music". Sometimes I really wish they would post all the catalog-numbers, so you could verify an album much easier.
So far, I've made some good experiences with musicjapan_de and ch___marche_24, and you'll get your items very fast. (Within in a week, that can't be said about all the sellers there which are shipping from the US) I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |

Thanks to everyone giving me recommendations.
Today I ordered some scores from Play-Asia. Shipping is not that high, but the general pricing is quite a bit higher compared to YesAsia. Nonetheless I gave it a try. Thanks again guys! I was speaking idiomatically. |
