BSOD and dump_wmimmc.sys
When playing Rakion (a free online game), my computer will suddenly get a BSOD saying there is a problem with dump_wmimmc.sys and it is forced to restart. I have no idea how to fix this problem and am wondering if any of you have ideas.
The following link is the research another guy did on the subject. Hopefully it'll shed some clarity on the issue as Rakion uses nprotect as well. TechBlog: Hey lawdy momma, it's already Friday... Jam it back in, in the dark. |
It's a problem with Windows SP2 and NProtect. Hope you're not cheating, or using any cheating utlities!
![]() Update to the latest version available for your software. There is otherwise no other solution as far as I can tell. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Nope, I'm not hacking or cheating at all. What do you mean by updated to the latest version available for my software? Are you talking about Windows XP and Rakion, as they are both up to date.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Rakion and NProtect. Otherwise, you seem to have no other alternative.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
