Yo!

Once again posting about an anime nobody seems to care about... mostly!

This time around, the story is about two girls... one is a survivor of a strange incident, and yet another is here on reconnaissance for... get this... an ALIEN INVASION. And if you haven't guessed by now, it is in fact, yuri. All female race of alien invaders... yeah, my interest is THERE.

It's also a prequel to the manga series of the same name.

CHARACTER ROSTER:



The main character, Mari. A morose girl who's the lone survivor of a mysterious tragedy some years ago.



Her name's Hagino Senkouji. She's the mysterious girl from outerspace. Need moar proof?



She's obviously corrupted by phazon! I only wish I wasn't joking.



Michiko Kouzuki. Shy gardener type. Optimist. So far she's cute but doesn't impress me.

There are others, but they ain't as relevant.

Also take note that Hagino has flashbacks of Mari's past, and proceeds to choke her midway through the episode. She doesn't finish the job and finds herself confused, so now Mari gets pissed and declares her her SWORN ENEMY.

Then it gets really fascinating when Mari inadvertently stumbles upon Hagino summoning her MASSIVE SPACESHIP, prompting the girl to go into PHAZON MODE. Yeah, what a way to end episode 1.

News: Simoun-Fans are the guys picking it up. I hear they're slow, so one has to hope that Omni decides to keep blogging it.

- Girl get's enrolled into the school
- Girl meets Girl pt2
- Chick Fight due to a "magical shake of hands"
- Girl greeting turning into a huge bitch fight.

..... . "I liiiiiike!" =).

I guess I'll give it a chance. I haven't seen something like this with two main characters seeing their past just by touching eachother.>=]

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Hell yes, you are the most improving anime EVER.

ARGH.

Nobody's paying attention to the beauty of this anime.

Sure, it lacks the fanservice of the manga, but the anime's drama is so well done it's amazing. GODDAMMIT GO WATCH IT

Summary of awesome since episode 4:

Spoiler:

-Mari is now aware of Hagino's alien status... and they're not really aliens so much as they are humans from another dimension.
-Tsubael has picked up small bits of epic, and starts fangirling over Hagino just like her loser human subjects!
-Micchi is devising a play. At first she has massive problems, but after being able to randomly see Tsubael she's inspired and cooks up a supermassive play which is a lol poor rendition of Mari and Hagino's budding romance.
-Azanael started gunning for Ekaril's head, but gets captured. Tsubael had to babysit her as she learned the true origin of girlfriend Onomil's death. Bad news? She still hates Ekaril/Hagino, and as of the end of ep nine, now even more so.
-Mari and Hagino are growing ever closer....
