Odin Sphere Original Soundtrack (VGCD-120)

Release Date: October 24th, 2007
Price: 3200 Yen ($27.48)

Game Music / Odin Sphere Original Soundtrack

About time, eh. The listing shows it's one CD, but the description says otherwise. WHY IS THERE CONFUSION OVER NUMBER OF DISCS

I haven't played the game nor listened to the gamerip, but I'll likely check this out. And I hope I'm not spamming up GGMD making threads with hardly a decent opening post. Oshi~

Got the gamerip. Awesome shit.

And the gamerip is composed of two discs so I'm not certain if CDWeeaboo is lying.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I ordered it a few days ago from Play asia (not realizing it was on cdjapan), and recently ASH aswell. October 24th is gonna be like my second birthday!!! XD
I hope they bring the game out to the UK. The music is really good despite the ghost writting by Basiscape. Hope it's a good one

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I'm very excited. The gamerip is terrific, as I mentioned in my review, but some of the best tracks had background SFX in them or other rough spots.

It'll be great to see those smoothed out in an official release, and to see the composers get some money from disc sales. I really hope they publish a detailed composed breakdown with the release as well.

A friend of mine was looking to try this game but got Ar Tonelico and Growlanser instead. I'm beginning to think she may have been better served getting this than Ar Tonelico although I seem to recall the reason she passed on it being ugly rumors of difficult grinding or some such. I've heard nothing but good things about the music though and can't wait to hear it in an official release.

I just listened to it and I love the fact that Sakimoto's music doesn't have memorable tunes, every time you listen to it, you discover something new. It keeps me interested.

The new OST is terrific--great sound quality, detailed composer listings, and copious bonus tracks. I'll have to update my old review now. My only quibble is that they left off the brief "chapter start" music, which I thought was kind of nifty.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

Terrific soundtrack. I still need to play the game when I can get my hand on a copy. Probably will have to wait till I return to the US next year.

On a side note, Eminence Symphony has two tracks in the OST. Congrats to them, I believe this is the first officially released OST to have them in it. (Untill they release the damn RXJ OST, if ever.)

Jam it back in, in the dark.
