I'm connected... but I'm not...
For some reason approximately every other time I boot up my computer, it connects to my wireless router but says it is not connected. The internet works fine when I'm "Not Connected". How do I solve this?
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Unfortunately there isn't much you can do. The sad fact is that Windows utilities like these are hastily designed and as a result just not all that reliable. It's possible that it could be a conflict with your particular wireless device, in which case you may want to try looking for a driver update, but I'm weary of even mentioning that, as it's most likely just poor coding on Microsoft's end.
There is that old saying, you know. Don't fix what isn't broken. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
