Worst GFF Fanfiction Final Round: Stop Sign vs. Dark Nation
The final round is upon us; this will determine who has written the absolute worst fanfiction GFF can produce. Each entry is quite unique, but both cracked me up, so I think this will be a tight contest. Who will win in a battle to the death, Stop Sign or Dark Nation, Jesus Christ or Jean-Luc Picard?
LET IT BEGIN! Story #1: Betray You Story #2: Star Trek 2999: The Hopeless Situation War Most amazing jew boots |
I have to say, I'm disappointed in both of these stories. "Star Trek 2999" was nice and awful, but then the entire paragraph lifted straight from Family Guy at the end killed the humor. On the other hand, while the um... twist in "Betray You" was completely unexpected, there was also no real effort put into it and it wasn't really a fanfiction.
Despite the major dock in Awesome Points for its ending, my vote has to go to Star Trek 2999: The Hopeless Situation War. If nothing else, it deserves the win for:

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Well, I wasn't really referring to the content so much as how much of it the author actually wrote. Like you said, there's a fine line there so it's up in the air. I won't deny that it was hilarious, though.

I'd say they were both pretty funny Betray you had me laughing harder but that depends solely on a popular twist so I'd definately side with star trek for continuous laughs
I was speaking idiomatically. |
Meh, I was also pretty disappointed with both stories, in terms of both content and writing. Just about the only thing I found hilarious in "Betray You" was the pictures, and while the Star Trek one was kinda funny at first, it dragged out for way too long. And like Tritoch said, the ending kinda ruined it. So out of these two, I went the Star Trek one.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Betray You relies on a stupid gimmick, but it's still better than the Star Trek piece which tries way too hard. And fails about 3 paragraphs in.
FELIPE NO |
It appears that by a narrow vote of 7-6, Stop Sign has won the GFF Worst Fanfiction competition. Congratulations, Stop Sign!
