Jadedness
Watching the news, reading the newspaper, and generally being on the internet has jaded my perception of things that I use to show moral indignation at. Accusations of rape, racism, sexism, etc. are usually met with an apathetic 'meh'.
Reading the Rapist Checklist (Which is now locked) written by Biting Beaver has dulled me to almost any accusations of rape. Knowing that people take that tripe seriously makes me doubt any claim, legitimate or otherwise. Here it is if you haven't read it yourself. My apathy to racism is just from living in Harlem. And sexism has to do with crazy feminists. So my questions are, are you jaded towards anything that you previously held scorn for? And do you think this normal? I think that being on the net for a while in addition to the websites I frequent poisoned me, so to speak. I don't know if it's normal but I can't help the way I feel about these things. How ya doing, buddy? "So shut your cow-mouth or I'll remove your face by hand before I stop your whore's heart!" ~Victor von Doom
