Upbeat country/ranch/hoedown instrumentals?
My brother's helping out with a church event for kids. He says the theme is that it's set on a ranch, and they'll be using words like doggies and cowpoke and such. Does anyone know of good upbeat background music for a ranch setting like that?
Since I don't like country, I don't have a reference piece to give as an example. The closest thing I can think of is Hayseed from The Incredible Machine 3 or the guitar/whistling part from Into the Wilderness. And note that though I'm asking in this forum, the music doesn't have to be from a game. Thanks. Jam it back in, in the dark.
Check out my original music at my Soundcloud page!
Latest music rips (updated January 10, 2012): SimCity DS - Jazz/ambient/electronic music including interesting reworkings of songs from the fantastic SimCity 3000 soundtrack Cold Winter Original Game Music Score - Really cool; dark, full, emotional strings mixed with drums, piano, choir. Kind of like Furious Angels? Play-Asia - Japanese CDs, game soundtracks, game imports, & more ![]() |
That's cool!
Several tracks I've suggested in this thread (http://www.gamingforce.org/forums/sh...ad.php?t=19309) should be adequate for your brother's event as well. I don't know how well VGM tracks would be welcomed though... Non-VGM-wise, my knowledge is limited, but I know of at least one incredible tune: "Doubleback" from the movie "Back To The Future III". It plays during the festival/dance. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Another song that was in this year's SotW contest: Blast Corps - Beeton Tracks (I think). Should be right up your alley.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
