Sappy songs you like despite yourself
You're the Inspiration.
That's what Friends are For. Songs I love, though I hate to admit it. I was playing Elite Beat aGents, got to the part where You're the Inspiration is the background song, and found myself touched. I just had to ask this forum what songs we have a soft spot for, despite ourselves. Jam it back in, in the dark.

A lot of musical numbers from films prior to 1970. Think "Getting To Know You", "On the Street Where You Live", and "Good Morning". Not so hot out of context, but through the exuberance of the performers, the razzle-dazzle of set pieces, and ornately choreographed routines of a full musical feature I can't help but submit.

Stickwitu by the Pussycat Dolls...yes it's shameful.
Some 80s power ballads too, Take My Breath Away by Berlin, Total Eclipse of the Heart by *cough*. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
