Using CUE sheets to split MP3 files
I was wondering if there was a direct way to make use of a cue file to split a continuous MP3 file into separate MP3 track files. Obviously, I could do it by hand in a wave editor program, but I'd like to avoid this route if there is a program out there which can do this for me without having to decode the original file first.
Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
Just tossing out that it'd also be super convenient if there were such an application for flac and ape files as well.

Searching the Internets for, oh, I dunno, CUE Splitter might net you a result.

But seriously, thanks for the help. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? ![]() |
Now does the Cue splitter transcode files? Or leave them at the exact same bitrate? (just splits them)
I was speaking idiomatically. |
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? ![]() |
Yo, thanks for this program, I just finally used it. It is the best!
