This is now a Servbot dedication thread.

Servbot (Kobun in Japan, which roughly means "little follower") are a series of characters from the Mega Man Legends series. They are not a single character but one of a group of 40 small, indestructible robots made by the air pirate Tron Bonne to do her bidding. Each Servbot has its own ability from cooking to cleaning to battle, and they do various chores on board the Bonne family airship the Gesellschaft. They first appear in Mega Man Legends as an enemy of sorts which Tron sends to rob banks and cause a general commotion. However, by Mega Man Legends 2, the Servbots begin to treat Mega Man more kindly (though still antagonistically), thanks in part to their mother's crush on Mega Man.

Servbots are adorable, indestructible little robots created by Tron to do her bidding. They look, act, and sound just like five year old little boys and love and adore their creator like a mother. Although Tron is a very strict mother, the Servbots love her more than anything else in the world. There are forty Servbots in all (41 in the Japanese version) and assist Tron and the rest of the Bonne family in everything from fighting to chores. Despite their small size, they can be quite powerful fighters and are vital to the Bonnes' success as pirates. Servbots also love to eat spaghetti, curry, and drink coffee.

Servbots are similar in appearance to little LEGO figures and are often referred to as "Lego People" for that reason. They also serve as the comic relief throughout the Legends series and their humor and antics are part of what makes the Legends Series popular among many Mega Man fans. In fact, during their adventures in MoTB, the Servbots don't seem to realize (or perhaps care) that they're stealing or doing anything wrong. Rather, they probably see their missions as just playing or simply doing anything they can to make Tron happy. They are unconditionally loyal and will gladly do anything for Tron, in contrast to the disloyal and double dealing Birdbots.

Personally I HATED these fucking things in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 until I started using one. They're weak, but difficult to attack due to their ridiculously small size. And their supers are awesome. Actually I didn't even know Servbot existed until MvC2.

Then I played the previous games to track them down. This is probably my most loved gaming villian now just for their appearance and personality. Runners up are of course Ultros, the blobs in Landstalker, and the snails in Fantastic Dizzy.

In this thread your soul purpose is to discuss Servbot, and your favorite sidekicks in this here gaming's history.

I remember in MvC 2 early on there was talk of Servebot being a top-tier fighter. Basically, you built up five levels of meter, tag him in, lock down the opponent and chip away with his Gamma super (where the flurry of Servebots jump onscreen). Fun to watch when it works, but if it fails...

I always enjoyed the little buggers in the Megaman Legends game, although the Misadventures of Tron Bonne was maybe a little too much pimpage for my liking. Still, they deserve a comback sooner or later.
