GETSUMEN TO HEIKI MINA - Delicious Bunnies Inside!
![]() - GETSUMEN TO HEIKI MINA - 月面兎兵器ミーナ ![]() - Lunar Bunny Weapon Mina - _| ̄|○ Official Website – Japanese – mi-na Anime News Network – English – Getsumen To Heiki Mina (TV) The F00L’s Progress – Engrish - Blog archive of the 26 episode “series”. Alright, here’s an anime that I’ve been waiting for, and finally it has materialized into a proper series! The first episode was aired in Japan on January 13, 2007, and is still on-going at the time of this post. It is schedule for 11 episodes at 25 minutes running time for each episode. For those of you who watched the hilarious summer 2005 J-drama Densha Otoko, you’ll immediately recognize our bunny friend Mina which was featured in the opening credits of almost each episode doing some “train surfing”, and firing hilarious carrot missiles with ELO’s Twilight as the main theme. Initially, GHM was a ficitious anime which was featured in the Densha Otoko series, however, due to its popularity (as far as I have read), it has been produced into a series proper. After looking at a few screenshots and a small segment, the character designs seem to have been changed drastically – for the not so good, as far as I have seen, comparing with the original design by Okama. Just to clarify, in Densha Otoko, the series was known as “Getsumen Heiki Mina” roughly translated as “Lunar Bunyn Weapon Mina” (yuck), however, the actual anime series is Getsumento Heiki Mina, for you anal types. _| ̄|○ Getsumento Heiki Mina (月面兎兵器ミーナ?) was a fictitious anime which appeared in the television miniseries Densha Otoko. In the same manner as Kujibiki Unbalance, an anime that began as a fictitious anime/manga within the anime/manga Genshiken, it has been adapted into a television series. The 11 episode series has been adapted by the animation studio Gonzo. It premiered on January 13, 2007 on Japan's Fuji TV. Anime News Network has reported that the proper pronunciation of the title is "Getsumen To Heiki Mina", and not "Getsumen Usagi Heiki Mina." [1] In the series Densha Otoko it was named just Getsumen Heiki Mina. Regarding the cast, it was initially rumored that the voice actor for the main character, Mina Tsukishiro, would be Saori Koide, who played seiyū Karin, the voice of Mina in the Densha Otoko miniseries. It has since been confirmed that professional seiyū Marina Inoue is playing the role.[2] _| ̄|○ SCREEN SHOTS ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() _| ̄|○ STORY After establishing contact with extraterrestrial civilizations, it was found that humans were the only race to develop various sports. The number of alien sports fans grew dramatically, and the most fanatic of them regularly harass stadiums for taking part in a game, or demanding a good show, etc. Finally a treaty was settled, ruling all interferences towards other planets' cultures illegal. Rabbit Force, a group of rabbit-themed henshin girls became responsible for enforcing the treaty and capturing any offenders. _| ̄|○ CHARACTERS – Biographies to be added when available. _| ̄|○ TORRENT – Megami – Translated – Episode 01 – Thanks to K_Takahashi for the find. Also, LOL at Spatula watching yet ANOTHER animu series – man, I really wonder what avatar and signature set he’ll use this time >_> . Insert funny comment here. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() - What we all do best - |
I was hoping it would have some sort of vocal opening of sorts, but I suppose being a first episode they had cram a lot without wasting any time. I look forward to the next episode for that (content-wise, I havent watched it fully yet, like the rest of the anime I d/l).
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
