Hellgate: London

I'm surprised that I didn't find any forums entitled this. So what do you guys think? Diablo on heroin? Looks amazing to me. If I'm not mistaken this is the company that worked with Blizzard on the original Diablo. This might breathe the life back into the old battle.net community. Anyone up for some baal runs? Supposedly its in first-person too. With Directx 10.0 coming out soon, I could only imagine the length going into detail here. Definitely on my wish list just under Crysis.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I like the theme of this game more than that of Crysis so I'm definitely keeping this one on my radar. It seems like I've been hearing about this one for almost a year now. This one and Bioshock are two I'm really looking forward to.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Yeah, I'll probably just get Crysis for the same reason that I purchased DOOM 3, just for the graphics. I feel the need to participate in the cornerstone of groundbreaking computer graphics. I'm always amazed with every new achievement. I'm guessing Hellgate: London is going to play like Deus Ex: a fps with a skill based system.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Read that this game will run in PCs that are 5 -6 years old(er). Either way, I'll be buying this as I am interested in its gameplay. The class system and the skills especially is what I am looking for. And oh, the First Person-Third Person view switch mechanic as well would be worth looking at.

Oh, I will relay the link about the 5-6 year old PCs running London when found.

But how well will it run on the older machines? This is one of the few PC games that I'm interested in. It looks like it's just plain old fun.

I was speaking idiomatically.

According to Wikipedia, PC Gamer magazine has that information.

Well, since it was like.. 2 years ago or so: Image, I might as well post a link that hopefully will relieve some of the stress:

I lost all interest in this game when they decided to charge a monthly subscription fee for it.

Isnt that still in discussion?
And it would only be for the Online part of the game, not for singleplayer.. but still, a fee for playing a shooter online...

the comic to the game is pretty good tho

Well, there you have it. There will be "significant free online play". I don't know what this will entail, but it sounds promising.

It's not just a FPS. I'd say it's something more akin to Oblivions system, except with guns. There will be stats, you'll just have to properly aim in order for them to take an effect.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
Oh shit.
