COBOL Compiler in Windows XP

Hi guys,

I just tried installing the Fujitsu COBOL compiler on my WinXP machine, and it won't install! The Fujitsu compiler only works with WinNT, 95, 98 and 2000, but not XP (the installer asks me for NT service pack 3 and won't continue past that point). I'd really like to have a compiler for my WinXP machine, so that I'm not forced to write my COBOL programs on the AS400 (aka the "Green-and-Black attack!). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Is this an InstallShield package? Then try Orca or something similar on it and remove the checks.

How ya doing, buddy?

Have you tried running the Installer in Compatibility Mode?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
