Though they don't officially count as 4 player roms, the various years of King of Fighters can support more than 2 people, you are usually paired off to teams in fighting each other, despite having to wait for your character(s) to be playable. Eg. You play Mai, while the person on your team could play King and Athena after you lose with Mai for example.
