Has any one played FMA: Dual sympathy?

I'm considering getting a DS lite for my self as a christmas/birthday present and one of the games i'm thinking of getting is Fullmetal Alchemist: dual sympathy. I"m wondering if anyone on here has ever played it, if it's any good, and if it follows anything from the series or anything.

I'm playing it right now. I don't really watch FMA but from what I can tell it follows the storyline pretty faithfully and there's a lot of cutscenes and dialogue so I'm guessing fans of the series will like that. It's a standard Final Fight clone but the touch screen elements seem pretty forced (you have to touch dots and crap...). I can see a lot of people not liking this unless they really like Final Fight/Double Dragon style beat em ups.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Rockgamer said he heard that you can play as Roy...is that true?

I'm not much of a gamer so i don't know what final fight and double dragon are.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Upon further review, this game sucks. Especially if you're not already an FMA fan.

Apparently you can play as Roy after beating the game. I wouldn't know, I stopped playing after becoming frustrated with the repetitive and dull gameplay.

Final Fight and Double Dragon are classic "beat em up" games where you walk around beating up lots of enemies. However in those games you could do lots of different combos and moves like holds, throws, grappling, and use different weapons. Here you have like 2 combos and can make platforms and crap. People looking for a deep and hardcore beat em up experience will be disappointed.

I was looking into this the day before it was released, and several people who'd played imports said it was incredibly boring. I decided against getting it, especially since the pre-order bonus at EB was just the first DVD of the series. It's just the same thing over and over with looooooong text conversations in between. They're trying to tell a fairly complex storyline with a side-scrolling beatup style, and it just doesn't work.

Watch the show first if you haven't already; this game will both spoil the story and make you never want to watch one of the best anime series.

I just got this game as a surprise gift for Christmas from my manager. I didn't expect anyone to get me anything especially my manager. Anyway now that I do have the game rest assured that a rip will soon come.
