How screwed over is PS3 online?
Consider this. The Xbox Live service streamlined the console internet gaming to almost a perfect peak. The first was good, 360 is great. Point being is that it is $10 a month.
Now take PS3. Online service is bare bones. Not only is the gamer left with separate setups for each game, it lakes 99.9% of what made Xbox Live so great. But it's free. Personally, I think PS3 just handed Microsoft the online champ trophy, considering how easy it would be to just steal Live's layout with a Sony layer, regardless that it's free. Jam it back in, in the dark.
It turns out that today is opposite day, so all of what you have said is true, so you should probably just go.
