making a dvd
This may seem obvious, but how can I make a DVD that I can play on a regular DVD player using my computer's DVD burner?
I've always just burned data onto DVD discs but never experimented with making actual DVDs, aside from copying actual DVDs. But if I have a movie, an .avi file, how can I make it so that I can put it on a DVD that I can just pop into a DVD player and watch? How ya doing, buddy?
The only way out is through.

Unless your DVD player is DivX compatible, you'll need to re-encode the movie using something like WinAVI.
If your DVD player is DivX cmpatible, just burn the movie(s) as data and it should recognize them. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
This works

If you're just copying a plain dvd, use something like DVD shrink to clone and fit it on a single layer dvd.
How ya doing, buddy?
I am myself. You can't change me. I am who I am.
