Ummm... could you at least give me an example as to what I did that was so wrong. What we can't have constructive criticiisim any more? Do we have to all like the same things and think the same way now too? When we take away the ability for someone to have their own opinion it's not making things better, it's called ignorance. And anything I did say that might have offended anyone, at least I back my opinion up with examples and proof as to why I say what I do. I'm not the type of person that would just say something like "Microsoft sucks" and leave it at that, I would back it up with as to why I think something.

And also the least someone could do is tell ME that I'm doing something wrong so I know to stop instead of taking the easy way out and removing me from an area without saying anything. Heck I've been here for six years and no one has said anything to me before as to stop doing this or that, sure I've gotten in arguments before, but they've never come close to anyone banning me before, so if someone could treat me as an actual member here instead of some noob that would be nice.

I apologize if I'm a bit forward in this post, I'm not trying to personally attact anyone, but seriously, a little warning would have been considerate.

Can forum bans be made public, or at least be given an explanation without said user having to wonder what the hell is going on?

Forum bans should be posted in the banned members thread. They have been in the past and I see no reason why we should stop doing that now.

Your tirade against MS's console prices and how they rip everyrone off in my LUMINES THREAD was one such example of piss poor posting, Slayer. You do nothing but spread lies and misinformation in the Window and you don't contribute anything to the discussions. Several members of staff agreed with me when I brought this issue up.

I didn't think I needed to back up Microsofts over pricing of online content. From the incomplete Lumines (which you yourself were tirading against also) to Microsoft Consumables it's all old news and I was just pointing out how the Lumines pricing went in hand with previous and future developments of Live pricing. Also what do you mean don't contribute? I gave details as to what Lumines Plus was and was keeping the Gears of War thread up to date whenever new info of the game came out.

Secondly that was one incidence, I never saw anyone say "Slayer that was out of line", or "Slayer this isn't the place to be talking about Xbox LIVE pricing", no, it was one slip up and it's "See ya later Slayer!!!". And don't even mention the whole Gears of War thread thing. I just said how Gears of War looked next gen and how few games on the 360 have looked as good as PS3 games coming out this November (but also pointed out how there's a good amount of impresive 360 games too) and people start attacking me saying that "oh you just don't like the games.", I've bought every non-sport game for the darn system, I think I know what I'm talking about, or as I mentioned in the thread how I have the right to my own opinion. It's nothing to argue about. And if someone does attack me for a comment where I complemented both sides and maybe pointed out a couple negative things about one, you can't expect me to just sit back and take it, of course I'm going to retaliate.

I'm a fan of all three systems, hence why I have a 360 and am going to be getting the other two not long after launch. However I'm not just going to sit back and let ANY company get away with taking my money and giving me nothing for it. Hence why I'm so critical with Microsoft from time to time. If Sony made me pay $550 for a PS3 and were to give me games that just looked like PS2 games with HDR lighting tacked on, trust me, I'd be just as upset as I come off to be with the 360 from time to time. However the 360 is the only next-gen console that I've played as of yet, hence why it's the only one that I can comment on. I'll admit that I may go a bit far from time to time, however I am right when I say that many 360 games to date have been disapointing in the use of the resources that the 360 has, until recently.

The reason why I may look to be on the Sony side of things is because they're looking to be doing more right. Every launch title is using the tilt feature, and as I mentioned before every game on the PS3 visually surpass 80% of that on the 360. It's fact, you can't argue that, and I'm sorry if that makes people mad. There's nothing that I can do about that.

As for Lumines Plus, I wasn't that far off. The only part I was off on was that it's a port of Lumines 1 with extras for the PS2. The reason why I thought it was a sequel was because that's how it was announced last year, and never saw any updates on the game. It's hard to keep up to date on everything.

However if it's about the last two posts in that thread the first was a complement as to how Gears looks to be the beginning of the wave of good looking games on the 360. And the second was to defend myself against someone who thought that my previously mentioned post was a criticisim on the system in general when in fact it was an observation as to how things were beginning to change for the system.

As for my title, I'm just going along with what people have made of me. However I do believe that you are right about how people who are not aware of the current situation might get the wrong impression which would not help my case at this point. So I thank you for bringing this to my attention and I shall relinquish my title.

EDIT: Enough arguing I say. It's pointless and it's not accomplishing anything. What's done is done and going over the facts and disputing them really arn't going to get us anywhere. So I propose this. How about I remain banned from the Microsoft Window for a disclosed amount of time. Upon the end of this time I am allowed acces to the forum once again on a say "probation" where my conduct may be monitored closely and anything that appears out of line during this time may lead to permanent banning from the area. Then after the "probation" period I am reinstated with the same rules and regulations that are expected of all users. Because I still don't think that it's right for me to be simply banned from the area without any warnings or anything. However I do admit that where and how I said things at times was incorrect.

On a sidenote, why is it that warnings only matter to the people getting banned without them? You never see people complaining about an advertiser getting banned without a warning, or a fucking retard getting instabanned, but when it happens to YOU, all of a sudden you're special and demand more rights.

Ummm... mostly because I've been here for six years and have never been a problem before (at least nothing huge). I'm sure that thoes people who reported me to you were happy to see me gone, but if you were to ban them for some violation I'm sure that they would be trying to do the same thing that I'm doing now, it's logical defensive action. As for that bargaining part, I was just trying to lead the conversation down a more productive path that could possibly lead to an end instead of arguing points that really wouldn't accomplish anything other then wasting everyone's time where they could be doing something else (because I'm sure that you don't find this all that interesting).

I'll give you that. The first 6 months didn't really show off the 360's abilities, but the past 6 months have done a lot better not just in terms of graphics but especially with the Live features.

I can argue that, as someone who played a 360 on an SDTV for the first 6 months he owned it. Sure, on HD all the little differences are readily apparent, and I'm not saying on an SDTV that the graphics don't look better at all, but there won't be enough of a distinction on an SDTV to make people care. Also, as a game store employee, I can tell you that the $600 price tag is definitely NOT "doing something right". Nor is the pitiful launch number that's pissing off the people who have a life and can't camp out in front of a store for two days. Nor is the controller, which is pissing off not only Nintendo fans but apparently people who've actually held the thing, as it's apparently poorly designed. And don't get started about the tilt controls being in every game. All of them but Warhawk have the tilt sensor in there either as an alternate control scheme or as some gimmicky motion.

I don't know how the staff works because I've never payed attention to the inner workings of things. I just posted in the odd thread time to time and that was it. It wasn't until recently until I've had to deal with moderators hence why what I have been saying and doing might not be getting me anywhere, but is the only thing that I can think of to do in order to get things back to how they were.

I apologize if I offended you by taking the reigns as to what to do next. That was not my intent. Therefore I will leave things to the moderators as I should have done to begin with I suppode. But like I said. I know what I did was out of line and I have come to terms that there are repercussions for that. However I do wish to take part in the Microsoft Window eventually because I believe htat there are a lot of positive things that I would like to contribute and discuss about in the forum. Believe me, the last thing I want to do is cause trouble again.

As for that whole Lumines sequel would be different then a port. Really? How much more can they do with the game other then add new songs and levels without actually changing the game? And if the sequel is just going to be the same thing with different levels. I don't think a port with more levels would be too far off from that of a sequel. I could be wrong, perhaps there's a bunch of really cool new stuff in Lumines 2. It's just that from playing Lumines on the PSP and on the 360, I don't know how much they can really change without changing the whole game.
