Project Sylpheed Original Soundtrack (Nakano & 3 more)
Square Enix recently updated (created?) the page for the Project Sylpheed OST. Project Sylpheed is an upcoming shmup being made by Game Arts.
The composers: Kenichiro Fukui, Junya Nakano, Kumi Tanioka, Takahiro Nishi Release date: November 22 # of tracks: 35 The full track list can be found at the official page or on GMR. Fukui previously worked on All Star Pro-Wrestling II, Einhander, and Front Mission 5. Nakano should be pretty well-known around here. Tanioka did FF: Crystal Chronicles and FFXI, among others. Nishi hasn't worked on any OSTs before, according to GMR. Jam it back in, in the dark.
Check out my original music at my Soundcloud page!
Latest music rips (updated January 10, 2012): SimCity DS - Jazz/ambient/electronic music including interesting reworkings of songs from the fantastic SimCity 3000 soundtrack Cold Winter Original Game Music Score - Really cool; dark, full, emotional strings mixed with drums, piano, choir. Kind of like Furious Angels? Play-Asia - Japanese CDs, game soundtracks, game imports, & more

Welcome to three months ago (last sentence). :P
But yeah, I'm looking forward to hearing more Nakano. I want some damn samples! There's nowhere I can't reach.

I was hoping to catch some names of Silpheed tracks in the Project Sylpheed OST.
![]() This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
The main composer of the game is Kenichiro Fukui, Junya Nakano and Kumi Tanioka contributed only a few tracks. As for Takahiro Nishi, he worked on the original Silpheed.

Yeah, I've known about Kenichiro Fukui doing the music for this for quite sometime. After the incredible album that was Einhander, it's good to see him working on another shooter. It'll be nice to hear Nakano's and Tanioka's contributions as well. I've already got a pretty full November order list (Garou box set, Raiden III, Tenchu Senran, Palais de Reine, Gundam: Target in Sight and the Shin Sangokumusou BB Image Song single), but Project Sylpheed is a very cheap 2,000 yen, so I may add this to my list as too. It's gonna be hard to pass it up.
I was speaking idiomatically. |
