I hardly watch any new anime's but I was able to catch the first episode of this just yesterday.
It somehow reminded me of Black Cat and Shakugan no Shana by the way the intro introduced so many characters.
This is basicly another "lets kill the vampires" type anime but with just a few minor twist. For example, the vampires have a will of their own and don't turn all zomby once bitten. In fact it's pretty interesting to see what happened during a flashback almost at the end of the first episode...

lots of mysteries during the first episode but it also feels cliche


Jirou, guy in the red, is the main character and his little brother Kotarou is the comedy relief for the series I guess. That kid can take some punishment from his brother.

The first episode got me interested enough to wait for the second episode. Reminded me of black cat so I hope it gets really good.

Episode 01 - Black Blood Brothers

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I'm also going to see this through to at least the next episode and hope that something other than Jirou, himself, holds my attention. It's not my usual genre so I attribute that to the reason why I felt so indifferently about it once it ended. It shows promise, though, and I anticipate (hope) that the second episode will get me hooked.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I checked this out last night. Its pretty good. Reminds me of those old classic animes ( i said it again... ). The animation looks original, not too bright and colorful. It looks to have some comedy and I hope to see some more good stuff about it later on.

Yeah.. Jiro has the same outfit relating to Alucard minus the witch hat. Maybe an inspiration?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Im impression after watching the first episode is that it might be a cool new vampire anime. It will shorten my wait time between releases of the hellsing ova.
