Red Line on LCD monitor
I'm pretty sure this is irreversible.. =/
But my monitor fell from vertical to horizontal position... onto a bowl. -__- And it was fine until I retarted the computer and now, there's a long red line where the bowl was. Is there a way to fix it or is that pernament ._. Double Post: Okay, weird. I pushed it a little and the whole line vanished. But it comes back periodically. So I guess it's not really pernamement. Any clue what's going on? =S Most amazing jew boots ![]() Want obscure Classical Music CDs? Search: http://www.lib.uwo.ca/ PM me the code, I'll rip it for ya [MAX 2 CDS/User]

I don’t really know the specifics as to why this happen; but if I would have to venture a guess I would say that it is more than likely this occurs when a connection becomes loose on a certain line on the LCD and causes green and blue to be disconnected for that portion of the monitor. But unless you can fix this, (which would most likely cost as much as the monitor itself) I would say buying a new monitor would be the best bet if it becomes too annoying.
