Screen of my notebook problems
Yesterday I noticed it because of my new background. In the lower right corner there is a part of the screen that's collered different. It is a bit lighter than the other parts around it. Today it seems to be a big bigger than it was last night. It's not bothersome, but what's going on here? Is my LCD about to break?
How ya doing, buddy? ![]() |
Hrm...did you notice this at all before the change. Try swapping through several different solid color backgrounds and see if the oddity still remains and it isn't just imagined. If it is a legitimate problem, then yeah, I'd agree that your screen may be starting it's descent to failure. Here's to hoping you still have an effective warranty.
There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
Warranty last for another month, and yes - it isn't the wallpaper.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() |
Does the warranty provide for any sort of free diagnostic, or is it just through the manufacturer and you need to ship it to them? My concern is that if you ship it to them now, they'll merely send it back and say that it isn't covered or not problematic enough to be valid for repair; but waiting much longer will leave you warranty-less. Quite a dilemma.
