Innocent Venus

This anime will probably be like one of those old classic animes we've seen back in the good old days.

The story starts off with a full explanation on what happened in the year 2010AD. Over 5 billion people were hurt and killed and decreased population down to 3 billion. The cause of deaths was caused by a group of Terrorists called "Logos". People, who are reffered to as Revenus, are poor, sad and sheltered are being ordered around by logos to live a fucked up life. Thus began the chaotic era.

A few years later. Jin Tsurasawa escapes Phantom (an organization responsible to watch over the Revenues and to prevent any trouble from logos ) with Noto Sana. Many groups are after her for a purpose. No one knows why. Protected by none other than Katsuragi Jo and joined up with some funny dude name Gora. The team move on forward for survival and hopefully find something that'll help Sana from falling into the wrong hands.

Im watching it over to make sure i got a few things right.Other than that. Its been a while since i've seen animes like this one (only because the ones from 2k4 and 2k5 were never good). So if anybody feels the same way. give this anime a shot and lets see how the story goes from here. The music isn't so bad. So Im fine with it. I'll update for pics ASAP.

I admit that it sounds cliched, but it does look promising. Is that the Samurai Champloo character designer?

I was interested in this anime only because the artwork and CG looked promising. The story was interesting until I read the part about a mysterious girl that everybody's after. I'm just so tired of that cliche.

I'll give this a chance when I'm able to download again (which hopefully is soon), or wait for somebody to upload them on Youtube.

I think the whole length of the anime is 12 episodes according to ANN.

So we wont be getting much out of this since or if the story goes go to that road.

still like the anime though ;p

I was going to make thread about it right after watching RAW episode but I was to busy. Just watched [KissSub] translation version and have to say that's it's not one best one. Let's begin from idiotic font with spaces between words like 1 cm, missing spaced after dots, and few other timing issues. I can say that till some good Fansub team will not start working on it I'll keep watching [KissSub] version.

I'm hoping for [Ayu] or [ShinsenSubs], [Kyuu] & [C1] is not bad to.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

It seems more like they wanted to be the first ones to sub the series. Dont blame them. shows how good it is ;p. Aren't they also involved with Kyuu-Fansubs as well?

Well, it's something to keep me busy, but not all that high on my priority list. Somehow, some parts reminded me of both Appleseed 2004 and the first episode of Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid. The presence of mecha and military themed warfare are a turn on for me, as it does remind me quite a bit of GITS/FMP, however I find the character designs rather bland, if not wacky. Sorry to rain on somebody's parade, but I really get turned off by that Gora guy. Is he supposed to be comic relief or what. Within the first few lines I just cringed and just wanted it to skip to any other scene without him yapping. At any rate, I'll just torrent it for the hell of it, since I might be missing out on some thing good.

This is it. Fansub is not about speed only but speed and precision. There is v2 version released and HD so I give it a try. Still I'm waiting for other groups to release it.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

You know like those old animes. Characters like him won't last long anyway ;p . They either betray the hero or just die in battle (a terrible death that is).

Just after 3rd episode, of course in RAW.

Spoiler:
Scene we ware left in episode 2nd we see when Jo is getting in his black mobile armor and try to say Jin and Princess from military and pirates. Quite effective battle await, with quite much violence to. In final Jo and Jin are getting separated and kidnapped in truck by pirates. While Jo force Gora to take him straight to the pirates hideout.

A lot off additional information about mobile armors pilots and their predisposition are revealed. Still not much known about, why and how are they created.

I just saw the first two episodes, and I stand by my earlier statement; it does look promising. (I like the guy who uses Tarot cards... I've been partial to Tarot users ever since playing Persona...)
