Hey,

I just logged into Fileplanet and found Company of Heroes has gone into Open BETA stages! I managed to get in, and am downloading now, but I recommend for anyone interested to get in quick, as keys are limited to a single batch. The Open BETA started yesterday.

I've been in the beta for a few weeks now. It's really the greatest RTS I've played in a few years.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

I got my key and the game yesterday night and played a game online. It was pretty damn awesome. While the resource model was nothing ground breaking the whole idea of cover and how the units use that cover was really really mind blowing to me. It now truly pays to put units behind a wall. And now with that kind of cover using flanking moves is actually a viable move now instead of the typical cross your fingers and send'em in encounters in other RTS games like WC3. I think I just found the RTS game to fill in my time.
