Solitaire Mahjong games for GBA/DS?
There's a gazillion PC software based on this game, but there's not much games for the consoles/handhelds. The only portable S. Mahjong game I have is the really old Shanghai from Hal for the GB 'brick.' As much as I love that game, it's showing its age (all those drab colours would give me eye strain now), so has there been any recent games for the GBA or DS that I can replace my other game with? I'd prefer one that allows me to save anytime I want (helpful if you're on the go), but it's not necessary.
Unfortunately, the PC game I have, Shanghai: Greatest Moments from Activision, doesn't seem to work well on non Win 95/98 OSes, which is a darn shame 'cause it's my favourite game of the genre ever. Gotta get a new game. P.S. If anyone else loves the game as much as I do, do you use the default tiles or the custom ones like birds and places? I always use the default tiles for the pure fact they're much nicer to look at. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]()

Might wanna check this out. =o
One of the 42 games included is none other thaaaaaan ![]() And it's online! Apart from that there's some Mario themed Mahjong for DS that only got released in Japan. He looks pretty angry in this, maybe he sat on something unpleasent. ![]() There's nowhere I can't reach. |
That Mario game features real Mahjong, so that won't help me, but that other game you mentioned is right up my alley!! I saw some screenshots and the graphics look crisp and clean. Pretty prfoessional looking, and the online mode sounds killer. Thanks for the heads up. I'd never have known otherwise!
Oh... ![]() OMG IS THAT A HAMSTER???? I presume those are little avatars you can use when you play online. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
