Getting new PC... a help?

I am not sure if this topic belongs on to this section, but I will give it a go.

Okay, I decided to get a new PC. I can't build one myself because I don't know much about PC.

What I want is a gaming PC that is able to to run latest game out there at high deafault setting.

I need a PC with DECENT price. Nothing like 3 grand.

The amount of cash I got on me to use it $1500~1800 CANADIAN

I need some suggestions, ideas, tips, ect.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

The reason you arent getting a load of replies is because this is a very hard request. I would check http://consumer.hardocp.com and read up on some reviews. If you think you can install a graphics card (they arent that hard), then I advise buying a system with alot of memory and a good CPU with a junky graphics card (or onboard graphics) and upgrading this yourself. This is the best you can do for low price high-end graphics gaming.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Hm... Intel Pentium D 820 or 915? That's only thing that is bugging me.

Err.... sorry, which graphic should I buy or stack?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

how about the new intel core duo 2 which is the AMD killer ..it seems its 17% better than amd in performance.

make sure you have 1 gig of ram minimum, atleast a 6600 gt or 6800 GT graphics card , and a intel 3.4 ghz or AMD 4000+

A lot of stores have that "build-a-PC" page where you can choose your own components and find out the final price... I don't know which part of Canada you are living in, if you live in Vancouver, you can customize your PC on one of the following sites and have them built for you for free when you buy:

http://www.ncix.com/
http://www.addax.bc.ca/
http://www.a-power.com/

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

the last one is good..but the graphics provided aint gonna do much for you..so you will have to spend some extra bucks and get a decent card. ( i say look for the Geforce 7xxx series)

If i could recommend anything, wait about 2 months. The new Intel Core 2 Duo will be selling all over. AMD's AM2 Athlon64 X2 processor system will be selling for pennies. I mean, this holiday season is going to be PC bying bliss. Just hold on a weee bit 'til we have something that we can recommend.
