Cancelled VGM release?
I just browsing through GMROnline a few minutes ago, looking some information of Samurai Showdown OST, but I notice there is an album which is cancelled for uncertain reason.
Is there any similar case to other albums? Cancelled VGM release? I wonder why situation like this happening. I know games development sometimes are cancelled because the console's popularity dying, but I never thought it would affect the OST release as well. Interesting that someone actually spotted the catalogue number. Perhaps the case is bit similar to Earthbound Zero. Jam it back in, in the dark.

I thought the Dreamcast was dead long time ago, and Chaos Field got a OST release. So maybe they just rethink and doubt they would make money for it... But I'm pretty sure some cancelled release would have brought more money in their pocket than the Drama Album sales. Who likes Drama Album anyway !?

Tekken 5 OST was cancelled along time ago but got resurrected, I guess with the arrival of the PSP incarnation.
The Wizardry box set was also cancelled at one point, but it looks like it will still come out. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

I was really looking forward to the release of the Namco Wonder Box when it was announced, but it was later canned. It was going to be hella expensive but I would have took the hit to own those albums. Such a shame it never came out.
