So that now Rare is back on Nintendo DS... (rumors)
Well, its happens! Rare is back to Nintendo in a really good by porting DKR to DS, Sabrewulf and those GBA ports of DKC were nice, but i guess that this is one of the best Rare news since Starfox Adventures (yeah, i like it, sue me)
So, now the Rare web got this question on the Pantsboard section: Given recent confirmation that Rare will be supporting the Nintendo DS, what projects do you hope or expect to see from us on this system? Is there anything you don't want to see? So, the most waiting titles seems to be: - DKC4 (Impossible to made if you ask me) - Jet Force Gemini DS - Banjo-Twinnie (BK3?) - And probably the most wanted for the Rare fans: Perfect Dark DS Wi-Fi What do you think about this? if Rare is going to port and remake his N64 games i guess that this is a really good time for Nintendo, a PD DS and DKC4 sounds really awesome to me... i know that is only petitions, but you never known. How ya doing, buddy? |
Perfect Dark DS? *drools*. But give me Jet Force Gemini DS as well. That game was underrated.
I'm going to take this news with a grain of salt. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
I would love to see a Goldeneye 007 port. I never really got the whole obsession with Perfect Dark. I just couldn't get into it.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() |
All the aforementioned N64 games would be quite bitchin' on the DS. Goldeneye would be amazing to have on it. Throw in online play, and maybe even more players, and that would be instant win.
Banjo-Kazooie would be sweet since I haven't played them yet. Oh, and BattleToads... I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
If they might be able to ressurect Killer Instinct in some way or form, I would be so overjoyed. Hey, I just realized Killer Instinct DS in shorthand would spell out as KIDS!:lolsign: That would be pretty funny.
Anyways, I'm really interested in everyone's thoughts on whether a KI remake/port/sequel is anymore possible now than it was before. What do you all think? I was speaking idiomatically. ![]() Thank you Guest for the kickass signature! |
What rare need to do is release an updated version of Snake Rattle N Roll, with better controls and possibly wifi. The game contains endless amounts of fun and I can definitely see it on the DS. It's a realistic view since The New Zealand Story, Rainbow Islands, and Bubble Bobble have all reached the DS. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
Well, to be honest i also prefer KI3 too, but its seems that Rare just doesnt want to made it on all those years, even their made jokes about the "production" of the game in the Scribes section of their website. Also, i guess that KI3 will be 3D for sure, and i dont want that... only if at least they made a 3D title but keep the 2D style, a-la-Rival Schools.
FELIPE NO |
Rare can not be trusted after the attrocity that was Perfect Dark Zero. To expect anything out of them when their last good game was on the N64 defies logic.
I, for one, couldn't care less about this unless they just ported their older good games. How ya doing, buddy? |
Whereas Kameo was a solid game, but nowhere near extraordinary. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
I have nothing to look forward to from RARE. Actually, I'm a liar.
Battletoads DS please. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
