Computer Doesnt Boot Up
I once again have another computer problem. Now when I turn off my computer by the power button, when I turn it on it go's to a black screen with white type saying like " Sorry Windows shut down" blah blah. It asks if I want to re-boot in Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking, Safe Mode with Command Prompt (not sure about that one), Start Windows With Last Setting That Worked or Start Windows Normally. If I use any of these options it go's to the windows screen when it has the Windows XP logo and the little green bar moving across, then it just shuts off and repeats this process over and over and it's always the same. Any advice?
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
You should be able to boot from your Windows XP setup disc and choose to repair your installation.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
try starting the recovery console from the setup cd and doing chkdsk c: /f
if that doesnt help go with what Rock said. How ya doing, buddy? ![]() |
