I need a shitty video card
I made a thread about this before the crash but I never got a definite answer. The computer I need this for is a SFF Shuttle PC. I need a shitty card with these shitty specs:
-No fan (i'll take a card with a fan if it's easy to get a heatsink for it) -Dual dvi (no vga) -AGP -Nvidia would be nice, but i'll take ati if I must This computer is built for web design and low noise. No games! I guess the shittier the better. I don't want to spend a lot of money on this thing. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
LOL. They only get soooo shitty...
This is the cheapest video card I could find with dual-DVI. But it has a fan. Basically, if you want dual-DVI, cheap, and fanless, you are SOL. You could go dual-DVI, fanless, expensive /or/ cheap, fanless, and VGA&DVI. There's nowhere I can't reach. ~ Ready To Strike ~ :Currently Playing: League Of Legends(PC), Skyrim(PC), Golden Sun: Lost Age(GBA), Twilight Princess(Wii), Portal2(PC), Dragon Warrior II(NES), Metroid Prime 2: Echoes(GC)

I second that recommendation.
I was about to suggest a Geforce 2 before I saw the DVI requirement =p This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

this is the only no-fan, agp, dual-dvi card i can find. it's expensive. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
I think that you'll probably just have to remove the built-in fan and mount your own passive heatsink. Or you could always just snip the wires on a videocards fan and hope that it can idle safely.
I was speaking idiomatically. |
