Just suggestion... I wonder if it's possible to split animespot forum? I think the discussion in the animespot bit unsorted between anime manga discussion if all the talk crammed into one place. In some thread, the discussion of manga might spoil the anime watcher and vice versa.
I think the forum should be splitted into a forum and two subforums to make things bit sorted. ![]() So it may turns into like this: Anime & Manga general discussion Subforum: Animespot Subforum: Mangaspot anyway, it's just suggestion, I hope you would consider it ![]() Jam it back in, in the dark.

The problem you described can just be easily solved by creating two separate threads instead of two separate forums. It worked well previously for certain series, there's no need to further divide forum traffic especially considering that Animespot is nowhere near the most active forum in Gamingforce Network. Plus, you'll find that activity will be disproportionately skewed between the two proposed subforums -- there aren't nearly as much manga exclusive threads compared to animated series.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Hmm, since NigBlah has said so... I guess it's okay then.
![]() I guess you should add this rule to animespot rules since it wasn't mentioned in the stickied thread. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

It sounds like that's what Blah's saying.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? ![]() |
Naturally, if there is a series thread you wish to create a manga-exclusive (or anime-exlusive) counterpart of, it's good form to ask the thread creator beforehand and/or obtain the opinion of the thread participants. If not, then the moderators will determine whether your split is warranted.
I was speaking idiomatically. |
Indeed. We also have this unwritten rule that if there is a shitty thread for an anime or manga and someone wants to make a much better one with links, synopsis, character details, pictures, etc. then we'll axe the old thread in favor of the new one. Generally we try to inform the older thread creator or put a link to the new thread for some sort of continuality (is that even a word?) but if it's a thread from a notoriously bad thread creator like how chato used to be and to some extent still is then we'll just forget the whole message and link to new thread thing and replace it with the new thread should one arise.
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
FELIPE NO |
While on this topic, can we get some sort of rule for spoilers than states users need to at least say
Manga:
(Fuck you if you say "Your fault for not reading it") What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? ![]() |
I think creating two separate threads--one for the anime and one for the manga--would be more useful in the end, but, if there isn't too much discussion about the anime or manga in a given thread, I'm all for at least asking that users specify which they're talking about.
How ya doing, buddy? |
I wouldn't mind if more people tagged their spoiler codes with spoiler=whatever, Lukage. That'd be mighty fine.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Spoiler:
I find myself doing a lot of *click* *intentional quick glance* "OH SHITS ITS THE MANGA!" *unclick* Rather than 2 subforums, stick with 2 threads for each..."Oh man sorry, I swear I was in the manga forum" How ya doing, buddy? ![]() |
