Nightmare Before Christmas 3D Remake
I didn't believe it at first but they are remaking the 1993 Tim Burton classic. I don't know how I feel about it. I definitely liked the animation style as it was. My girlfriend showed it to me at first.
http://www.tribute.ca/synopsis.asp?m_id=13287 http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/thr..._id=1002426023 I'll try to grab a image as well. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
They're not remaking it, they've "remastered" it for 3D, whatever that means.
So, same movie, same animation, only now in 3D. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Oh ok. They're going to make a 3D goggle style movie, like for IMAX 3D or something.
I really don't like the fact that they take movies that weren't made to utilize 3D and convert them to do it since the effect is not really effective. I saw Chicken Little and it was not impressive at all. Go to IMAX3D for some really impressive 3D. Man it actually feels like you're there and that there are things coming at you. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I don't like it when claymation classics like Nightmare Before Christmas get the CGI treatment. It's like looking at the first three Wallace & Gromit films and thinking "wow, this is beautiful" and then you see Curse of The Were-Rabbit and you think to yourself "what the fuck is this cheap computer shit". It's annoying and this is going to suck.
Most amazing jew boots |
Nightmare Before Christmas is not being done with CGI. For the Curse of the Were-Rabbit, it would be impossible to do the things they wanted to using claymation. How ya doing, buddy? |
...Oh. In which case this should turn out alright, then.
The only thingI can think of in Curse of the Were-Rabbit which was impossible as far as stop-motion goes would probably be all the rabbits being whirled around in that cannister - Everything else could be done perfectly well with standard claymation. It just... Lost its charm for me. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
