How to burn certain files?

Ok, I downloaded a game. I want to burn it so I can play it on my psx console.
It was in a rar file. I extract it.
I get an .img file and .sub file but there is NO .ccd file nor a .cue file
I google the problem and dont' find anything on missing ccd or missing cue file.
Since there's no .ccd file I guess it's not made by clonecd or it's just missing.
So the question:
Is there anything I can do to get this game working on a cd or there's nothing I can do?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Download Alcohol, use the Image Burning Wizard and select the datatype as "Playstation".

There's nowhere I can't reach.

burn the .img file?
hm... it freezes after the playsation screen.
I guess I'm out of luck?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Are you burning at 4x? I heard that if you burn any higher it'll mess up the entire thing.

I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

4x? I'll use 2x just in case, haha.
I hope it works but regardless of that thanks for the help Elixir.

Your PS1 is modded, right? Just covering all the bases here.

And Lix, the 4x thing only applies if your burner is prone to underrun. Most drives these days have enough of a buffer that they don't have to worry about that.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

I still burn DC and PS games at 2x. The systems are very picky. If you don't have the time to wait for the 2x, then you're on the PC too much.

And yeah, lol@ probably not modded. DC can use a bootloader (or whatever its called), but PS needs a modchip.

Yeah, I have a modded ps1.
I usually have all the required files whenever I get a game but this one didn't have all of it. I still try burning it at a slower speed yet. I'll do it tomorrow. But I'm really suspecting a missing .ccd file or .cue file since it has an .img and .sub file

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?
