How to repel Ticks.
Well I obviously got the idea from the Mosquitos thread.
I live in Southern Illinois and ticks are a big problem even when just walking in the yard. I've searched google for a while but there were few Tick repellent ideas. Most were only for Mosquitos. So if ticks are abundant in your area, do you do anything? Or just check yourself for them and pick them off? They disgust me to no end. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Not really much you can do about ticks really. Wearing boots with the socks rolled up over the top keeps a few of the the the oens from low grass off but as for keeping them away entirely no much you can do. rubbing your hair down to the scalp every once in awhile in tick infested area's will sometimes let you get the ones that have crawled up in there but haven't latched on yet.
There's nowhere I can't reach.
Lady, I was gonna cut you some slack, cause you're a major mythological figure but now you've just gone nuts!
