Arrow Well

Well, seriously, I just noticed that the first word of like 70% of my posts start with "Well...". I dunno why, but I think that "Well..." is a pretty awesome way to start a post. It shows that you have skills. It shows that nobody should fuck with your mind. It shows that if the pizza delivery man came one day and requested 10 bux, you would only give him 9 bux. What do you think? Do you use "Well..." quite often as well (lol)

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I don't use "well" half as much as you do. But I do have a habit of saying "et cetera," "also," and "so." when I type on the internets.

They are habits I can hardly break. My newest thing is the whole "I AM AN ENGINEER. I KNOW THESE THINGS" schtick. You all can blame LeHah for that one. I think its fucking golden. I say it in the real world more than necessary now.

I use "Well, I mean" as well as "well, like" quite a bit on the internet, but in real life, it's among the most common phrases I use. Well, why not? "Well" is such an awesome word!

The "well, I mean" thing is becoming a nasty habit of mine, though. I don't even notice myself saying it most of the time.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I tend to use "I" and "Perhaps" a lot to start off my sentences.

I think I use the word "well" kind of often. I am not really sure though. It is a very useful word however, because it seems to convey a slight conciliatory feeling which hopefully compels the reader to think a bit about what will be said in a more sympathetic manner.

Well, at least that is how I feel.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I think of "well" as a counterargument word.

I usually lean towards "oh", "ah", or "I guess" more frequently.

I rarely use "well" but I start off a lot of my posts with "[word]..." where [word] is usually Yeah, Aww, Meh or some other single-syllable grunt.

I tend to overuse "though," "especially," and "too."

I'm a big fan of "for the win," as well, but that's kind of overdone now, which is a real shame.

Well (), if you ask me, "well" is the most awesome way of expressing the German "Nun ja...", as long as you don't want to write something like "Eh..." or "Hmm...". Sadly, my vocabulary is somewhat limited when it comes to phrases like that. Recently "I guess" is probably one of my most commonly used words.

I try to not misuse the word 'well'. It's a word that is sacred and must be revered by all or else the meaning of it will be lost to all.

I don't think I use the word very much to start sentences. Instead of saying something like "Well, also..." I may just leave out anything before the "also." The "well" may suggest doubt even if I'm certain of what I want to say.

I'm the same way, generally when having a conversation with someone (particularly at work) I don't use words like that unless I really am unsure on a subject.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Sometimes I even say brb, omg, wtf and things of the sort out loud. I started out doing it to be funny but it became a habit. :/

I tend to begin a lot of my sentences with "So...". It's never the first sentence in what I'm typing. But if there's multiple paragraphs, there's a good chance one will begin with "So...". I type like I talk and that sort of phrasing comes naturally, I suppose.

I do use "well" to start off sentences a lot. Not to the extent of, say, Rappin' Ronnie Reagan, but I use it quite a bit. But I use "[blah blah blah] or something" way more than I should (pretty much all the damn time) and I wanna shoot myself everytime I say it. It just comes out before I can catch it. Trying to cut back on it.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Well, I use "well" quite often as well, indeed. (Could I fit more "well"s into one grammatically sensical sentence?) If I think I've been using it too much, for example, when I'm chatting in IM, I tend to edit it out.

How ya doing, buddy?
