Replacement analog nub for PSP.

Something really annoying has happened to my PSP. The little analog nub has cracked. It comes off, so it shouldn't be a problem to replace it, but does anyone know how I'd go about obtaining one?

It's an import, so I'm not sure if I can contact Sony. The way I see this is that it's a warranty issue, and I should get a replacement no problem, except that I don't know if I can still do that when I bought my PSP outside my home country. I picked one up when I was on vacation.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Well, there are replacement analog knobs available, but they're larger and more closely related to the Dual Shock 2's analog sticks than the original PSP's. But I've got one and I like it.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Oh, third party by chance? I was thinking I would have preferred a larger nub for the analogue controler anyway. Are they in stores, or do I need to order online? If the latter, can you recommend a stockist?

Thanks for the info.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Your warranty should still be valid provided you have all of the documentation and proof of purchase you could send it back to Sony, but if you have a 1.5 it will come back with the latest update probably.

Surely I wouldn't need to send the PSP in? This part comes off very easily. Wouldn't they be willing to send me one? Oh well, it is a 1.5, and I'll be damned if I'm upgrading, so fuck Sony.

Assuming that the product SouthJag refers to is available in storesas a third party accessory, will do much better thanks. I don't really use homebrew or warez, but I want that option. If only someone would come out with a GBA emu that actually runs at full speed.

How ya doing, buddy?

I know that Gamestop over here sell them in PSP item box sets for £10, but I don't think mainland UK have Gamestop yet, Gamestation might though, I need to get one though as mine fell off and I have not found it yet

This one is a pack of five - The smallest is akin to the original nub, and the largest is essentially a dualshock stick.

We have a winner. Pending that order being shipped, me and my PSP are now officially back in business. Thank you very much. I'm now thoroughly ashamed that I didn't think to check Lik-Sang first of all.

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?
