Who does it? Cause if you do and you're reading this then I'd appreciate a bit of help
I can get a streaming file to play in Windows Media Player but I cant save it. I found this link: http://www.devhood.com/messages/mess...hread_id=14067 but it didnt help. infact all programs suggested there didnt work for some reason. One program kept on requiring .dll files, and I got all and then it just gave me some error. And another program, well... i dont even know but it dont work for crap basically. So yes, anybody knows a good program that just saves streaming files or can help me then please post! (its a streaming .wmv file btw) Jam it back in, in the dark.

Honestly, I tried that program and it was crap for me. Granted I used the link I posted (which is about 3 years old now). Even so that newer version may be the same Grawl? Do you know how to use it?
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Last I checked, while maybe slightly different, there also was a Firefox extension that allowed to you download streaming video from a few websites specifically, like Google Videos and YouTube. You'd have to look around the Firefox extensions website however as I forgot exactly what it was called.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
I believe it's called FlashGot, but I haven't had any sucess with it. However, I haven't been trying too hard nor have I had interest. Check their forum/FAQ. I think there's more information on how to rip streaming clips.
I was speaking idiomatically. |
