System wide sound EQ for OS X.
I'm wondering if there is an application or applescript that'll allow me to set a system wide audio EQ. I'd love to turn down the bass.
Unfortunately all I've been able to find thus far has been application specific stuff. Thanks. Jam it back in, in the dark.

Audio Hijack Pro allows you to pass all system audio through any number of Audio Units you like, filtering it in real time.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Fantastic, thanks!
Unfortunately I've decided to replace my speakers instead. The issue was that the volume control for the bass is always at default and doesn't respond to control. Software control was only able to control it a little bit, not get it low enough for late night listening at decent volume. So, a failed experiment, but I appreciate the help none the less. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
